eucalypt house is inspired by the towering spotted gum tree at the base of the site, the same species of which the house will largely be constructed.

 

located on the brisbane river, this house is an exploration of refuge, peace and shade in an urban subtropical environment. operable facades allow the building to 'breathe' whilst providing privacy and shade when required.
